(KNSI) - Supplies collected in St. Cloud to help those affected by riots in Minneapolis is on its way to those in need.
Becca Schubert, with Trobec's Bus Service, Inc. says, seeing the devastation in that area, they knew they had to help.
"We are all about community, and it's something we take very strongly at Trobec's Bus Service, and so to be able to involve our St. Cloud community, and try and, you know, get the people who aren't able to show their support down there directly, trying to just involve them. Community involvement is huge.
We wanted to be able to support the community and Minneapolis area, so I got in touch with somebody who is in charge of the Cub Foods location drop off in North Minneapolis, and they let us know what they need."
Trobec's parked one of their motor coach buses in the lot at Crossroads Center Mall Monday morning to collect supplies. Becca and her father drove the bus to a collection site in North Minneapolis.
They wanted to thank everyone who came out to donate.
