Leaked footage of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales booting on a PlayStation 5 has emerged online, and is already blowing minds. While Sony has talked up its next-gen console’s SSD for well over a year now, the proof was always going to be in the pudding – and this is about as raw a demonstration as you could possibly hope for.

By our calculations, it takes roughly seven seconds to boot the game, and just two seconds to load a save. Obviously, this has always been the expectation after the Japanese giant promised that its new system would be speedy, but seeing it in practice is a sight to behold. Let’s hope the manufacturer’s PR ninjas aren’t quite as quick at tracking this particular leaker down, eh?
