Dying Light 2 will weigh in at just 21.1 GB without day one patch on PlayStation 5. The pre-load will start on February 2, 2022.
We're still a couple of months away from the release of Techland's zombie shooter Dying Light 2: Stay Human but some details about the game's size and pre-load start date have been found in the PlayStation Store database.
According to the info from reliable PlayStation Store leaker PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, Dying Light 2: Stay Human will not be an overly big game on PlayStation 5.
On top of this, the pre-load will kick-off on two days before the official launch.
Here are the early download size and pre-load details for Dying Light 2: Stay Human on PS5:

The download size does seem pretty low especially for a huge open-world such as Dying Light 2. On the Xbox Store, the listed download size is 72 GB , which is certainly more realistic.
Yes, PS5's Kraken tech is impressive and usually, game sizes are smaller on Sony's platform when compared to Xbox but not significantly smaller. Usually, the difference is around 5-15 per cent overall.
