Wright was highlighted by the NCAA in August as one of the top nine returning scorers in the nation. Wright averaged 20.7 points per game a season ago, which was good for the 17th best scorer in the nation. He assisted on nearly 25% of HPU's baskets when he was in the game a season ago according to Kenpom. Wright was the second highest scorer in the Big South last season.
The Panthers open the season in the Qubein Center on November 4th against Mount Olive.
