BAY CITY, MI - Ghosts, monsters, giant spiders and more are popping up all over Bay County as Halloween inches closer. Numerous community groups, organizations, and businesses are hosting trunk-or-treat or other Halloween events so that trick-or-treaters can get the biggest haul of candy possible.
The following is a list of Halloween events in Bay County that were submitted by readers for the days leading up to Halloween:
Tipsy Cowboy
The Tipsy Cowboy is hosting its 3rd annual kids Halloween party from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 116 W. Pinconning Road. There will be a costume contest, food, and crafts and games. A trunk-or-treat will also be held onsite from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. by local businesses and community members.
Paramount Rehabilitations Services
Paramount will be hosting a Halloween trunk-or-treat party from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday Oct. 29 at its facility at 1001 Mulholland in Bay City. A similar event will be held at the same time at Paramount’s Saginaw location at 6161 State Street. There will be a bounce house, games, candy, and popcorn and refreshments.
Zion Lutheran School
Zion is hosting a trunk-or-treat event from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29 in the school parking lot at 1707 S. Kiesel in Bay City.
Immanuel Lutheran
Immanuel Lutheran is hosting its first annual Fall Festival from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29 at 300 N. Sheridan Street in Bay City. The family-friendly event is free and it will feature games, pumpkin painting and a trunk-or-treat.
K&B Dance Company
K&B is hosting a Halloween event at the 3729 Wilder Road studio from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. The event is open to the public and it will include a large variety of Halloween themed activities such as trunk-or-treating, pumpkin painting, outdoor Halloween movies, fire pits with s’mores, face painting, corn hole and costume contents.
Unity Bay City
The Unity church of Bay City is hosting a drive-thru trunk-or-treat from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at 3736 State Street in Bay City on Saturday, Oct. 30. Treats will be delivered right to your car and there will be decorations, music and candy to enjoy.
Skorupski Family Funeral Homes
The Skorupski annual community trunk-or-treat event is returning this year on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 4 - 6 p.m. at both the Bay City location at 821 N. Pine Road and in Saginaw at 1550 Midland Road.
Stan’s Gold Mine and Bay City Games & More
The Stan’s Gold Mine Store at 3865 Wilder Road will be giving away free trick-or-treat bags filled with both candy and toys from 5 - 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30. Neighboring Bay City Games & More will also be hosting a Halloween costume contest at the same time.
Trinity - St. James Lutheran Church
A trunk-or-treat is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. and run until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 at the Trinity - St. James Lutheran Church at 119 E. Munger Road in Munger. Hot dogs, chips and punch will be served. The event is free.
Uptown Bay City
Bay Valley Christian Church will be presenting a trunk-or-treat event from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 in Uptown Bay City.
