After three weeks and one quarter of waiting, Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy scored the first touchdown of his career Thursday night.
With just over 13 minutes remaining in the second quarter, on a first-and-10 from the New York Jets' 48-yard line, Brett Rypien threw it up the right sideline as Jeudy leaped and snatched the ball away from Jets cornerback Pierre Desir.
The score gave the Broncos a 10-7 lead on the road. It was also the first career touchdown pass for Rypien, who played in the Broncos' final possession of the Week 3 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in his first career start.

Rypien's air distance on the touchdown was 54.0 yards, the second-longest air distance on a passing TD by a Broncos QB since the statistic was first tracked in 2017. The only one longer was by Case Keenum, who threw it 55.3 yards to Emmanuel Sanders on a 64-yard score against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7 of the 2018 season.
