LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) -Border Patrol agents seize several bundles of drugs near a local food bank in west Laredo.
The incident happened late Tuesday evening when agents responded to a report of several individuals carrying bundles across the river.
With the help of CBP Air and Marine Operations, agents were able to find six bundles abandoned near the Laredo Regional Food Bank; meanwhile, the suspects fled to Mexico.
The bundles weighed 591 pounds and had an estimated street value of $472,800.
