MILL CREEK — The Tygarts Valley Middle School baseball ended its inaugural season with a 10-2 record.
The Bulldogs swept Tucker Valley on Wednesday to end the campaign, with Jacob Wamsley’s three-inning perfect game capping the year.
Wamsley fanned all nine batters he faced in a 15-0 win, while also cracking a triple, double and driving in four runs at the plate.
Kendall Armstrong and Wade Cabaniss added three RBIs apiece.
Adam Woods, Wamsley, Cabaniss and Austin Teter each had two hits.
Tygarts Valley took the opening game, 14-9, behind Wamsley’s three RBIs and three hits.
Teter and Austin Gear also had three RBIs, while Ian Harris drove in a pair.
Reed Kisamore had three RBIs for the Wildcats and Garrett Wilfong and Xander Lambert three hits apiece.
