SALT LAKE CITY — If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a large semi-truck that haul vehicles to a dealership were to lose control of the vehicles… here’s your answer.

It happened Tuesday on eastbound I-80 at Bangerter Highway in Salt Lake City.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), several cars being hauled by a semi-truck fell off onto the roadway. One of the fallen cars was left straddling the cement barrier.

UHP Sgt. Nick Street told KSL that nobody was injured in this potentially deadly traffic nightmare.

Instead, Street said there was only property damage. Crews had to close a left lane in the area, but traffic was able to keep moving albeit with some delays.

The UHP had to utilize a tow truck with a crane in order to remove the crashed vehicle from the barrier.
