
Throws
Regina Yeboah earned a new personal best in the women's javelin throw with a 29.39m mark to finish 15th.
Jumps
Akera Benton finished seventh and notched a personal best in the women's long jump with a 6.01m mark. Benjamin Onyekwelu finished seventh in the men's long jump with a 7.37m jump.
Erhire Omamuyovwi took home the silver in the men's high jump with a 2.14m mark.
Sprints
Amarachukwu Obi used a 23.06 to take the title in the women's 200m. Agnes Abrocquah finished with a 24.52 to finish 11th, while Dorcas Gyimah clocked a 25.13 to finish 24th. Jaquez Torian led the way in the men's 200m with a 21.68 to finish ninth. Nickson Pierre (21.86), Michael Fuqua (22.00), and Darian Jones (22.04) finished 18th, 21st, and 23rd, respectively.
Middle Distance
In the women's 800m, Eusila Chepkemei recorded a time of 2:08.16 to take the gold. Quanisha Marshall finished 17th with a time of 2:19.15. On the men's side, Stephen Mengich ran a 1:52.67 to finish seventh, while Isaiah Strauel set a new personal best, finishing in 1:56.78 for 15th place.
Long Distance
Jacob Choge put together a strong performance with a 14:17.84 run to capture the silver in the men's 5000m.
Hurdles
Glory Nyenke notched a second-place finish in the women's 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.95.
