ORLANDO, Fla. – AdventHealth welcomed its first baby born in Central Florida in 2021.
Little baby Cruz, a boy, was born at 12:14 a.m. in Orlando at AdventHealth Winter Park.
Hospital officials said multiple babies were born during the first hour of the new year.
Baby Marcus was born at 12:21 a.m. and another baby boy was the first to arrive at AdventHealth Orlando, debuting at 12:57 a.m.

Baby Luka came into the world at 12:35 a.m. at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer. Luka marks the family’s second child. Luka came in weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
Judging by the photo, Luka is going to be one heck of an athlete.
“Delivering an average of 14,000 babies per year, this is just the beginning of a what will surely be a busy year at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer,” officials said.
According to a news release, no newborns have arrived yet at Volusia County hospitals in 2021.
Following the boys, baby girl Novalee was born Friday morning at 4:20 a.m. at AdventHealth Ocala.
“We are so blessed to have had the first baby. We thank AdventHealth and our labor and delivery nurses for a wonderful delivery experience,” Novalee’s mother, Bethany Lundborg, told the hospital.
Novalee arrived weighing 8 pounds and is 20 inches long, hospital officials said.
